The Toyota WiLL was a special Toyota project produced from 2000 to 2004 for the avant-garde youth market. The WiLL family includes the WiLL Vi (sedan, 2000–2001) and WiLL VS (hatchback, 2001–2004). The WiLL Vi is equipped with the 1.3L 2NZ-FE (88 hp), while the WiLL VS features the 1.8L 2ZZ-GE (190 hp, JDM-specific tuning).
The WiLL project was implemented through a special collaboration among various Japanese corporations including Toyota, Matsushita, Panasonic, Shiseido, and Asahi Breweries.
