The Volkswagen Passat CC (Comfort Coupe), produced from 2008 to 2016, is an executive-class sedan with a 4-door fastback/liftback body. Built on the Passat B6 platform, but with frameless rear doors — making it genuinely resemble a coupe. From 2012 the model was renamed simply "Volkswagen CC." The predecessor to the Arteon, this model is considered one of VW's most aesthetically appealing sedans.
