The Chrysler E-Class was a short-lived attempt to create a European-flavoured executive sedan on the K-car platform. Produced for only two model years (1983–1984), the E-Class was positioned between the standard Chrysler LeBaron and the more expensive New Yorker, targeting buyers who wanted a more refined, European-style driving experience from their American car.

The E-Class used the same 2.2L four-cylinder engine as other K-car products (93–101 hp depending on specification) and offered a slightly more sporting suspension tune and a less chrome-heavy exterior design than the mainstream Chrysler lineup of the period. A wagon version was also available.

The E-Class was discontinued after just two years due to poor sales — buyers in the segment preferred either a full European import or a traditional American luxury car. In Azerbaijan, it is an extreme rarity from a very brief production run.
