The Chrysler Prowler is one of the most audacious production cars ever built by an American manufacturer — a genuine two-seat roadster with exposed front wheels, a dramatically raked windscreen, fender skirts, and a silhouette lifted directly from a 1930s custom hot rod. First shown as a concept in 1993, public enthusiasm was so overwhelming that Chrysler committed to production. The result, launched in 1997, is a car that makes an emphatic statement on any road.

Mechanically, the Prowler used a 3.5L V6 producing 214 hp (later 253 hp from 1999) connected to a unique AutoStick rear-mounted transaxle transmission — the V6 was a controversial choice given the hot-rod styling, but Chrysler wanted a reliable and modern powertrain. The aluminium-intensive construction (body panels, frame, suspension) kept weight to around 1,360 kg.

Only 11,702 Prowlers were built across five years. In Azerbaijan, the Prowler is an extreme rarity — a genuine conversation piece and investment-grade collector car. Expect significant collector premiums on well-preserved examples.
